First off let me say, thanks for making it pretty.

i have an imac. i'm running OS X.

it takes me around two minutes for a page to load. and about four for anything with 'Napoleon Dynamite' in the title.

i do not know why this is but i just thought i'd let you know.

Coupla questions:
How do you connect to the net? (dialup? broadband?)
What browser are you using?

Just curious, page statistics on speed reports suggest the following load times (for a board page) -- just trying to help understand the variables you are experiencing.

14.4K 62.71 seconds
28.8K 31.35 seconds
33.6K 26.87 seconds
56K 16.12 seconds
ISDN 128K 4.94 seconds
T1 1.44Mbps 0.43 seconds

i have a little thing called Adelphia. It's broadband.

i've never had a page take so long no matter how many graphics, etc. are on it.

i use internet explorer for mac version 5.2

and when i type, the letters are delayed. i don't see what i typed for like three seconds. kind of fun. kind of not.

:)

sorry to trouble you, by the way.

No trouble. It's my job ;)

One more question... OS9? OSX?

Does IE show you what is going on? I bet something is still being loaded when you see the delay.

It's processor speed IMO, not pipe. I have a little old compaq P166 (but it has MMX!) that I occasionally use to surf and it ain't pretty :)

I was just going to suggest that. IE for the Mac is incredibly s-l-o-w.
