Here is a PBS Frontline site (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/reaction/) that talks about Nucelar power, the accidents, the process, how France has embraced it, and links to pro and anti nuclear sites.

The France article (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/reaction/readings/french.html) is a good read (especially how they look up to scientists).

And here is a good chart about the death tolls related to various man made events.

That is a solid website. It explains very well the pros and cons of nuclear power. You're right too, the France article is a good one.

I personally think we should be building more reactors to meet our energy needs. The "clean coal" technology although it reduces emissions, it still puts of CO2 into the atmosphere. I'd rather live next door to a nuke plant than a coal plant any day. With the nuke plant I'd probably be living there longer.

I took the nuclear phobia quiz and got 9 out of 10. I'm nuclear knowledgeable.
