...is....drumroll please.....

conservative! Who knew?!? ;)

Bush visits on Halloween eve, for a campaign rally at Great American Ballpark. Note: campaign rally, not State of the Union address.

Three of five Cincinnati news networks pre-empt regular programming to broadcast the entire rally live. Bush gets 1 hour free advertising on CBS, NBC and ABC in southwest Ohio.

Kerry has spoken here several times, but I don't recall anyone broadcasting his speeches in their entirety.

John Edwards visited Cincinnati today @ 3:30 p.m. It is now 8:09 p.m. and the Cincinnati Enquirer has yet to post a story about his visit.

That'd be a three-point shot from center court to win the game for conservative media. ;) And help win Ohio for Bush.

look who owns all three of those local channels.

and i'm quite confident those who are directing all three newsrooms are bafoons. they easily get blinded under the guise of an actual news event.

plus i'm sure all the consultants told them to air the event live.

i can hear the newsroom meeting now;

"well channel 5 going live, we should too."

"well if channel 12 is going live, we should too"

"well if channel 9 is going live, we should too"

lest us not forget that the all important november sweeps is on the horizon.

local news can be such a joke at times.

ohio, ohio it all comes down to ohio

Where Bush got a huge leg up from Cincinnati and Columbus media, thru their unwavering biased coverage. A key locale was Cincinnati-area Warren county, where Bush carried 70% of the vote. And where Warren county tv viewers got to see a full hour of *free* Bush advertising on Sunday night during Primetime television, 8 - 9 p.m.

it ain't over 'til the fat Buckeye sings!
:D

kerry got all the free press he wanted when he had events here too. Even on live tv. What were they going to broadcast locally?
