I just got back from voting!!!
This year in Florida, and like 2 other states they are having "early voting". The polls have been open for like a week-and-a-half. I went today and still had to wait in line for almost an hour.
My advice is this: For those of you in states without early voting, please make sure that you have plenty of time to spend at the polls. The lines will be much longer on election day than they have ever been before. More people are planning to vote in this election than any other in history. I've heard (at least in Florida) that if you are IN LINE to vote when the polls close, you won't be turned away. Please review your polling site and instructions. Make sure you have ample time allotted on Tuesday!!! You must NOT get out of line! If you do, then the decepticons have already won!!!!
:DMAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT!!!:D

Psst. Most people like to take advice from someone who can spell it...
Just a helpful reminder.

also, go as early as you can so that if there are any problems, you have time to rectify them.

I will pay $100 and give plenty of sexual favors to anyone who stumbles into a voting booth drunk with a 40 in one hand, pukes all over the place, and then passes out.

BTW- just get there early. I've heard that the number of people at the polls at noon can be doubled by 4:00PM, and that total can be again doubled by 7:00PM. So get there early, and be prepared to wait, and stay there until you VOTE! Don't leave because the line might incovenience you! VOTE!

btw, don't go to college.
florida lost 60,000 absentee ballots in the mail. looks like my roommate's vote for kerry will not happen.

she from broward county? yeah, that absentee ballot bullshit is upsetting, especially since it has a fairly high proportion of dems. (imagine that! )

the worst part about is that she has requested her ballot on three separate occasions and she calls almost every day but either gets a busy signal or no one answers. and her boyfriend requested his AFTER the first two times she requested hers and his came a long time ago. they're from the same county.... weird.

my vote for Kerry will happen. It already has. I voted this afternoon!!!! YAAAAY for Early Voting!
Trust me, it's easy to poke fun at Floriduh..... I did when I lived in Ohio last time. Voter Fraud is happenning here.... and in CO, and in NV, and that's all we know of now. After this election nobody's state is going to be immune to voter's rights lawsuits.

I'd also advise everyone to take ID to the polls and to vote only at your assigned polling place!!

definitely bring your ID--saw on the tube that a lot of places are requiring it. also possibly proof of address, especially if you're newly registered.
