This poll has been accurate since 1956. It's all over already, so we don't have to argue anymore!

The other predictor is whether or not the Washington Redskins win their last home game before the election. Can't remember the specifics of it.

The outcome of Washington Redskins football games has correctly predicted the winner of every U.S. presidential election since 1936.
The Redskins have proved to be a time-tested election predictor. In the previous 15 elections, if the Skins have lost their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party has lost the White House. When they have won, the incumbent has stayed in power.
This election year, that deciding game takes place on Sunday, October 31 ... vs. Green Bay.

There's a Nickelodeon poll that hasn't been wrong since its inception and it picks Kerry. These aren't scientific evidence in the slightest, and it depends who gets polled and in what parts of the country.
Gallup polls don't mean shit either. Bush isn't up by 5% overall, and to be a part of the gallup poll, you have to have voted before and have a land line. This year, most areas are saying that new voter registration and those who have re-registered is up to highs reminscent of post-WWII, and most of these are young men and women with no land lines, just cell phones.
Am I afraid we're going to be under the darkness of Bush for 4 more years? Yes. Do. I hope that Kerry can somehow win it? Yes. But again, I think both candidates are unfit for the job, and it bothers me that people continue to fight about who's better for the job, when they both are shit, and don't give a damn about me and you. They can say they do, but neither has the record to back it up.
It's dumb to sit and debate about Bush and Kerry. I say we all decide to write in a vote for whom you think should be president over both of them. Honestly, I think that Republicans like Bush (not all Republicans, mind you, just those who's ethos mimick Bush) are scary and definitely leading us down the wrong path, while Democrats like Kerry are so out of touch with the classes and people they pretend to defend and stand up for. This two party agenda is a joke, and it leaves out good hearted Republicans and Democrats who aren't in the political game for gain and power, or as a career, but to actually deliver on the promises they offer--it's just sad that the greedy and completely unfit politicians push them out of races and make them look weak and inferior by using false mudslinging. And now, these decent politicians are fewer and far between.

My favorite football team is the Packers, and if this is the case, they really have to win on Sunday. They have kicked some ass the last couple of weeks so let's hope for the best.

Burger Queen,
They are my favorite team too!!
It isn't looking good for them though, both cornerbacks out and Favre is not only hurting but his wife just found out she has breast cancer.
A win isn't looking too good!

If you're referring to anyone working inside the beltway you're living in a fantasy land.

I can name one--Richard Lugar from Indiana. That's it. And he's a Republican, something I am not, but I give the man credit, he does what he says and he isn't an ass doing it. He's even not against gay marriage.
I agree, within the beltway, it's ugly. It's a power struggle over who can sit in their seat the longest and not worry about their constituants. That has to change. The baby boomers who fought to change gov't have grown up to become the same people they fought against--we have to change this and make sure that the entire system is changed so we don't become the monsters we are fighting.

The ONE republican that I would vote for would be John McCain.

I think Bush will beat Kerry by between 2% and 6% in the popular vote, and Bush will also carry Ohio (I dont know by how much).
My Magic 8-Ball is pretty cloudy about the electoral college spread, though...
In anycase, 4 more years of Bush. Enjoy.

Are you serious? Man, as a Lions fan, I have to dislike Favre, but good greif, I wouldn't wish everything that's happened to him in the last year on him. Poor guy. The guy is all guts on the field and a credit to the NFL. But I digress...

Margin of error: +/- 5 electoral votes

They haven't been wrong in 50 years.
But no elections have been as close as the last one and the upcoming one.
We'll see about the schoolers and the Redskins.

A win isn't looking too good! you obviously don't know much about Favre...when his father died he had one of the best games of his career. I believe his wife being sick will only add fuel to Favre's fire.

yes they do.
right, but you've really gotta understand Favre to fully comprehend what I am saying.
Mike Sherman (their coach) is still calling all offensive plays. They have won the last two games by a pretty large margin.

And no team in history has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a series.....
If the Red Sox win the World Series, Kerry will win the election.

Please don't scare me like this! Isn't this a sing of the apocolypse? The ground is going to open up and swallow us whole while demons rise from the depths of hell, just because the NASCAR crowd and security moms will vote Bush in for 4 more years.
