I read the threads here, and find them interesting and often amusing. It's obvious that you all get a bit hot under the collar with the election coming up, which is totally understandable. I'm the same when we get to vote. What I find a little difficult is the fact that people get very personal and snipey at contempories with a differing political viewpoint.

Some of my favourite people on here share nothing in common with my own political thoughts, but we seem to have a laugh nonetheless. With your important election looming, I thought it would be appropriate to have a thread where people can just take the piss out of each other's political beliefs, friend and foe alike, if nothing else but to add a little levity to the forum.

Is Bush actually a muppet?

bravo to you! We need something different.

as a matter of fact i hate everyone here... not really...

I often wonder if after the election we will get to some actual discussion instead of we said, they said,....

If I went to a board function and told people my screen name, I think more than a few would like to knock some teeth out.

Guess I won't say anything on Nov. 28th.

Be gentle.........

By the way, your politics are shit!

honestly, can you really expect much from a country that boasts such cultural icons as anna nicole smith and tammy fae baker? Are they seriously icons? I thought Sinatra, MLK, Elvis, Johnny Cash, D Boon, Woody Guthrie, Pollock, Arthur Miller, Harriet Tubman, Johnny Thunders and Frank Zappa are good examples of icons. I know that Smith has a large set of cardigan-rockets, but, in all seriousness, who the hell is Tammy fae Baker?

Heh, heh... cardigan rockets. Tammy Faye has long out-lived her fifteen minutes as the former husband of televangelist Jim Bakker... I don't think I'd consider her an icon by any means. Now cardigan rockets, I guess you could call those icons...

BLEH! Our "icons" are all media-related.

You want icons? How about all the good parents in America?

Yeah, when y'all see me in Columbus wearing my MUSE shirt, shaking when I'm close to Bellamy, clapping when they open the tour bus doors, doing premeditated dance moves............

THEN you can hit me.

I won't do that though!!!!
