Apologies if this has been covered in an earlier post. In this case, reminders are good.

I just visited the Hamilton County Board of Elections @ 824 Broadway in downtown Cincinnati, and discovered you can vote early there until Saturday 10/30 (not sure of hours on Saturday, you can call or check their website).

Basically, you just tell them you will or might be out of town on Nov. 2 and vote Absentee. One caveat:

you must already be registered as a Hamilton County voter

So if you're already registered to vote in Hamilton County, and forgot to request an absentee ballot, or forgot to change your registration after a move within Hamilton County, you can vote in-person at the Board of Elections downtown. Any questions, call the BOE @ 632-7039, or visit their website:

it's clear from the current president, that a lot of people voting are morons

It's also clear that the current administration (that is, George Bush, John Ashcroft & underlings) did *not* make election reform a priority. But who can blame them? If it's broke, but got you into office, why fix it?

Regardless of your political affiliation, it's a damn shame we still can't make sure all our votes count.
