Ok, didn’t see anything here on the boards about it and thought I would lend a thread to speculations..."The Atom" anyone...?

What the hell is going on? There are missing posts all over the place today. The poster named Relik shows up as the newest poster on a few threads, but when I click the thread, there's nothing there from that person. Now Senor quotes Jspace in this thread, but JSpace's post is missing.

Have we been hacked?

Well is it possible that relik was one of those ipod spammers and Bryan deleted the entity and its posts? And Jspaceman may have deleted hi post from this thread or the quote came from another thread.

the atom: simply is a universe in itself made up of an alternate reality as our universe is an atom of someone's belt buckle. saw it on Mork & Mindy so it must be true.

Ok, I figured with one issue left of the series, I'd try and get it back on track for anyone reading it.

I finally picked up the first 6 issues online and caught up with what's going on. I know there's been some talk about using these iconic figures for an "adult" story line with the rape, but I think Brad Meltzer has done a good job with it.

Another one bound for hardcover release...

How the hell did you call that all the way back in September? I had no idea who it might be. I was thinking of villains. Shoulda known...

I guess I got a little lucky, but there were a couple of things that made me take that guess...

-They showed the phone off the hook at both murders and panels later, show Ray going through the phone lines

-Plus I thought it would a great twist having one of the JL'ers do it.

This theory I got from another site, but it still fits...

-Right before Jean dies, she's gasping for Ray...maybe not for him to save her, but for him not to kill her.

Still not sure how the big reveal will work. With Bat getting mind-duped as well, and how are they going to catch Ray? Can't wait for #7

Except that she's not dead. She's very much alive. Seems like the whole thing might've been some mad attempt to win back her love.

I don't know how it's gonna end... but there's gonna be a lot of explanation and closure to be done for the final issue. Should be good though, I've enjoyed it immensely.

Just finished reading the first six issues. This miniseries deserves all the hype its great. I would have never picked up on the Atom thing. Can't wait for the last issue to see how everything will tie together. Might have to go back and read Brad Meltzer's run on Green Arrow.

OK I just read the last issue and I have to say i'm suprised, but at the same time dissappointed, i don't want to ruin it for anyone, but i just find it to be the same old mystery let down at the end, maybe if I read the whole thing over i'll like it better.

Can anyone say Long Halloween? Was kind of disappointed by the ending. The twist just seemed to familiar. Like BobMapplethorpe I'll have to reread it to maybe get a better appreciation for the ending.

I feel like I should be as outraged as it seems the rest of the 'net is about the ending to this story, but in the long run, I'm just not. The story did for me what it was supposed to: entertain. I didn't see some of the twists coming, and found myself wanting to read each new issue immediately after it came out. That was the intention, and that's what I got out of it. The people overanalyzing its impact need to put down the superheroes and pick up some Owly or something. People take this shit too seriously.
