How does one get a "quote" of something from a previous post in your post when replying.

Just click the "quote" button at the bottom right hand corner of their post... then you can cut extra lines out if you want to quote something specific, but make sure to keep the tags (the parts in brackets) at the beginning and end...

another stupid question -- how do you put two quotes in one post?

That's a little more difficult, I open up another window and cut and paste from the same thread, if that makes any sense... hit quote, cut and paste onto the other window...

There's a little button/icon thingie above where you type that says "IMG" so click that and then type the properties/location of the image you want to post... that's the easiest way...

Just click on "Browse..." next to the place where it says "Attach file" down below the text window... it tells you the maximum size and valid file extensions below... :)

Don't use the IMG tags. Do simply this.
Type in whatever text you want in the text box. Click the Browse button under the text window, find the image you want to upload, and click submit. It should appear at the bottom of your post.

Akips making me post my dumb ass question here. Well, looks like no one's had a stupid question since October 8 2004. Don't I feel smart now.
Here it is. How do I quote more than one person at a time and, only use part of their quote?
Akip, you should answer this one, I did play along :p

i feel very silly. every time i try to get an avatar, i find a picture, put it in where it says type in url, then a thing pops up that says 'error: there is no picture at the specified location. check to make sure you have the right url'
or something along those lines. what do i do?

Yeah, that's very annoying. I usually right click and save the picture to my computer and upload it from there. That usually works. It's just trying to get it the right size that's a real pain in the ass. I wish we could have bigger avatars? hint hint. ;)

How do you get just the picture to show up and not the link? Can this only be done if the pic is not from a file on your computer?

Hot linking. Copy the picture URL and paste it into the "Insert Image" icon when replying to a thread.
