a spokesman for International Truck and Engine Corporation. "If you brought this truck to the playground, you'd be king of the dirt pile."
Well that's what it's all about now isn't it?!

Don't forget about the included "Support Our Troops" sticker.
Why is that the larger the car (and yes, SUVs are cars) , the more likely they have a sticker?
When in fact, you are actually supporting the troops when you drive something with high gas mileage (or even god-forbid, ride the bus).
Unless you think that supporting troops is sending them to Iraq to get shot at.

Will those things even fit on the roads? I wouldn't want one of those driving next to me on the narrow roads of Rt 48 through Centerville.

I cannot articulate how angry this makes me, or just how godawful this trend is...

I origionally posted this in the FABO thread:
I've also noticed that the more fuel the vehicle burns, the more likely it is to have one of these stickers.
There should be a $3/gallon tax in effect until the troops are pulled out to pay for this thing. This probably belongs in the politics board, but do you know we spend about 50 Billion a year during peace time patroling the Persian Gulf just to protect the flow of oil? An artical in Fortune last month estimated that if gasoline reflected the true cost of making it available, it would cost about $5/gallon.
