This is really DaysWithoutEnd. ::sigh::
One needs to really check the information on this subject.
Mental, emotional, and physical situations that develop after cavalierly following the abortion mantra.

:eek: Good god, what a horrible thing. I respect that there are two sides to this issue, but... I mean, whether you're for or against it, it's still a tragedy when it happens. The idea of denying the gravity of the situation by boasting about it on a teeshirt.. ugh. :(

i don't think the idea is to boast.
i think the idea is to make the important of choice vivid and personal for people. if someone feels strongly enough to have pro-life or pro-choice bumper stickers on their car, why not wear it on your shirt? it gives the issue a human face.
abortions are something that real live women experience and it's fucking shitty.

Give me a break, what's next "I had colon cancer" T-shirts? "I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome"? "I have herpes"?
These are things real live people experience and though I cannot speak from experience, I can only assume these things are shitty as well.
I don't need to see it on a t-shirt. That does not give the issue a human face. It makes a joke of it. It makes people take a serious issue WAY too lightly. What it doesn't do is give the issue a human face. It turns tragedy into a fashion statement so planned parenthood and yahoo can make a few dollars.
I also understand there are 2 sides and viewpoints to this issue. But this is not only boasting, but it is taking a major traumatic experience and making a joke of it. It's despicable. Period.

I have actually seen "I had colon cancer" T-Shirts. They have a big semicolon (;) on the front and "I had colon cancer" on the back.
Sorry Bob they are already ahead of you on that one.
