Hey All!

Shameless begging here.

Calling all writers! Pirates will be invading Randomville Magazine's (http://www.randomville.com) Pulp section in the near future and we want you to write about it.

Read any good pirate books lately? Read any good pirate books in the past? Know how to find pirate-themed books at your local library?

Then write for us! We're talking about Captain Nemo, pirates of industry, pirate radio, and general acts of piracy. You want in on the action? Shoot me an e-mail. It's that easy. Let me know what book you want to review. The deadline for completed articles is May 30th. Arrrr!

I wished you had given more time....

14 days ins't alot of time to read a book and write a 300-500 word review...

I think it is. If you read about 40- 50 pages a night, the book is over before you know it. And then a simple review just sort of seems to write itself.

Also, if anyone wants to write about pirates, but needs a suggestion on what to read, I can hook them up with a few titles.

I found this pic while trolling for pirates, and this is so cool, he's the actor who played Spewey on Chris Elliott's show "Get a Life." Best...episode...ever!!! (nerd trivia- theme song to Get a Life was R.E.M.'s "Stand")

If you want to review something for us, how about this (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0743229886/qid=1085101618/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-4720719-0747248?v=glance&s=books)? Sue Carpenter's 40 Watts from Nowhere : A Journey into Pirate Radio.
There is a copy available to anyone who is interested in reviewing this.
