I have sat for a moment and thought about this. This seems to go beyond a religous approach. These people I do not believe cared what religion these people were. They were foreignors and in their war ravaged country where many of these people saw their own people (children and elderly included) shot up, blown up, burned, starved, and herded by allied forces. We are only seeing what is on our American news. What they did was terribley terribley wrong and they should be put to death for it but I think these people have been driven half mad and frenzied by watching their country torn down around them and a war they had no want to be part of.
