So i have been listening to the president's special committee on terrorism today (its being streamed live and broadcast on NPR). My favorite part so far is that they now refere to drug trade related violence as "narco-terrorism." Pretty nifty. Furthermore, the President's handpicked committee seems pretty damn biased. I've been listening all morning to Madeline Allbrights testimony and they have really been hard on her, to the point of it coming across as a thinly veiled placement of blame on the clinton administration. So much for an unpartisan examination of the facts. Of course, maybe i'm jumping the gun. Colin Powell has yet to take the stand today and we'll see how they treat him. Hopefully i'm way off on this and my view has just been skewed by my liberal bias.

they are being pretty damn hard on Powell as well.

(Oh yeah, its a commission too, not a committee . . . )

It's good to hear that they grilled Powell too.. Hopefully the commission will be fair and act in the interest of truth, but.......
