I would be surprised if RG joined the ticket as he has far too many good, gay friends. They might not be so happy for him. RG was a pretty big gay rights proponent (or so i've read) and lived with a gay couple after his divorce. I know Cheney's daughter and all is gay, so maybe this argument is flawed . . . but i just can't see him being anymore then supportive on the stump.

I was watching the Daily show a while back, and they had RG in for the interview. Jon mentioned the vice presidency, an RG just said that he wasn't considereing it.

Though it wouldn't surprise me at all if that was one of RG's lies.
