WOXY radio@netscape stream

We've got a fancy new firewall here at work, and I can no longer get streaming .mp3. I can still get real audio streams except for WOXY.

I can't connect to sc1:liquidviewer:9000. But I can get WOXY via Spinner. So is there a hidden url that Spinner uses, and if so could it be posted?

Well, first off the "RealAudio" streams are not RealAudio at all. They're the same MP3 streams as the other links, the only difference is that one link launches RealPlayer and the other links launch your default MP3 player. So if you can't listen to the MP3 streams, you're not going to be able to listen to the "RealAudio" stream either.

Some corporate firewalls block outgoing connections on high port numbers and that's why you can't access the server.

Unfortunately I can't post the direct server link that Radio@Netscape uses so you'll have to use the Radio@Netscape player.

Yeah, I realized that underneath the shortcut/link it's the same underlying url for the Real Audio and .mp3 streams.

Obviously the Radio@Netscape is a different address but I kinda figured you might not able to post it.

It's okay. I figured out how to get the .asx file to play in Winamp, which was my main concern. Now I don't have to deal with Windows Media Player. 20kbps mono, but oh well.
