Announcing a special evening with up-and-coming Cincinnati area bands at the Madison Theatre on Thursday, March 11th.
The Rumpke Mountain Boys feature a four-piece bluegrass sound that is always entertaining and barrier-breaking (check out www.rumpkemountainboys.com for a sampling of their cover of "I Wanna Be Sedated"), while remaining anchored in the traditional bluegrass style.
Following them will be Trifectafunk, an electric three-piece (that's right, NO guitar) that defies conventions and labeling. Their first semi-pro EP is available on-line, with more info at the website.
Eur Mama will also be bringing their acoustic sounds to the fesitivities
Bring it on, and remember, dancing shoes are always suggested.
