I've mentioned it before, but hee's an official plea: if anyone in Dayton is looking for a pad, PLEASE let me know. I have a really nice 2BR house in Belmont, four blocks from the one and only DogStarMan, that needs sold or rented fast. It's been on the market since May, and all I can get are Section 8 whackos and nutbags who make me stupid low offers on the place. It's not worth that to me, but it IS starting to suck the lifeblood from me and my family finances.
Here's the scoop:
235 Bellaire Ave., Dayton OH 45420
2BR, 1BA, 2CA garage, fenced yard, new super-duper efficient furnace/AC in 2000, full basement, decent sized attic (with way-cool slidy stairs that hide in the attic door, keen!), very cool hunter green carpet throughout and white walls, all white kitchen, all appliances STAY (that's the fridge & stove in the kitchen PLUS another fridge & stove downstairs, and a washer and dryer in the basement), etc. The neighborhood is very quiet, very safe, never a single problem there. One neighbor is a Mont. Co. sheriff, the other is a deaf family, so life is quiet AND secure.
I'm looking to rent the place for $750/month, plus that much deposit; pets are negotiable. It's for sale for $74,900, but I'll make a deal with the right boards member who wants it bad enough.
