I know . . . I know . . . this album is old but hey, I just got it on CD and I really like it. Maybe I shouldn't be confessing this but I know there has to be others out there who dig this rock masterpiece. I never knew that Max Weinberg and Todd Rundgren played on it either.

I used to sit next to a guy at work that was a big Meatloaf fan. He'd play either Meatloaf or 38 Special on his tape player all day. He's lucky I didn't kill him.
I cannot understand how someone can sit and listen to an entire Meatloaf album. Maybe one or two songs, but not the whole thing.

Can anyone tell me what he means by "I would do anything for love, but I won't do that"? That has confused me for years.

he was so cool in fight club with the prosthetics that gave him man-breasts.

Meatloaf has an amazing voice.
Bat Out Of Hell had many, many admirers...Todd Rundgren and Bruce Springsteen were two of them. Dashboard Light is classic rock at it's finest.

Oh for God's sake, thanks for getting Paradise by the Dashboard Lights stuck in my head.

I gotta know right now
Do you love me
Will you love me forever
Do you need me
Will you never leave me
Will you make me so happy for the rest of my life
Will you take me away
Will you make me your wife...

Let me sleep on it
Baby baby let me sleep on it

Thanks so much

I think this thread is about Meat Loaf . . . not George Michaels.

I knew there would be at least ONE other woxy poster out there that feels the same about this record. Thanks for not leaving me solo on this one gang.;)

Meatloaf is awsome. He can bring a touch of opera into the souls of genuine Rockers.
