Meh.

I liked their MTV2 video... nice break from some of the more crappy recent videos.

The album left me feeling unfulfilled. Could be a lot worse though. I'd feel much better about them becoming mainstream-ified than I would about most bands on TV nowadays... two and a half stars.

You'd think I would considering it's my daughter's name, but I've never even heard this band.

I think it's a great dance record. It goes back to that 80's New Wave thing a little combined with the beats from one of the Neptunes. I'd probably give it a 7.5/10 overall though. There are some tracks that just don't do it for me. And since I haven't listened to the CD in a while, I can't name them. Crap.

I really like. One of my favs for the year...puts on a good live show as well. It does remind me of the 80's somewhat as well.

there are a few brilliant tracks on the cd and then there's also a bunch of filler. but "freetime" is definitely my jam. the tracks that are good are REALLY good. it's dancey and has some decent songwriting.

I was introduced to Kenna this past week when one of my friends was telling me them. Something about their problems with limp bizkit's label and subsequently being picked up by the neptunes label. Anyways, I've really enjoyed this cd so far. I really like the title track, Sacred Cow, as well as I'm Gone, Freetime (always makes me think I'm listening to some old 80's song, still great though), and Red Man. Nothing too spectacular, but it's got it's high moments.

Have you guys seen the video for Hellbent? It's seriously one of my favorite videos ever.

so i finally broke down and bought it, and damn was that a good choice. Great mix of new wave and dance hall and piano ballads and rock. And i didn't even realize the neptunes produced it either. Its a slick, fresh sound.

Apparently it's a short film called 'More' by Mark Osbourne. Here's a link to the unedited version.

I bought my ex-girlfriend that CD back in Christmas 2001 because we both loved the song Hell Bent (and the video). It was held up for a year and a half or so because of record company BS, but it is definitely a good pickup. HB, Freetime, and Rose would have to be my favorites. .... true, there IS alot of filler. So that chops it down a little..... but still good!!
