Wallpaper question

Just an easy one this time.

I've got a really cool tiki lounge kind of picture saved as my "internet explorer" wallpaper right now, and I'd like to know hwo to save the picture. I found it on Shag.com and I did the "set as background" thing. I know there's a way to do it, because I did it a couple of years ago, but I don't remember at all how to do it anymore.

Also, when I was doing this, I noticed a lot of old pictures saved in temp files and junk. I guess from websites. I don't really know. Most seem to be banners from movies within the past couple of years. Is there a way to get rid of them easily, or do I not even need to worry about them?

Do a search for a bmp or jpg file named Internet Explorer Wallpaper. If you're running XP, it probably put it in "C:\Documents and Settings\Your User\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\". Copy that file where you want to save it and then rename it to whatever you want.

If you're talking about temporary internet files, then the best way to get rid of them is to use your IE Tools-Internet Options. On the General tab under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files button. I usually leave the offline content alone, since it's mostly cookies and stuff. Also, if you're using XP, the Disk Cleanup utility is nice. Just look at the properties sheet for any of your drives and it should be on the General tab.

Anyway, I'd recommend going to tucows.com or cnet and downloading a shareware version of window washer. That will wipe all of your internet shit clean!
