Local Lixx Episode 32

Cincinnati’s longest running local music show returns this Thursday for our first show of 2009. Among the music you can expect is some new tunes from a band we did not think we would hear from again after their excellent debut album in 2003, The Light Wires. The band has since split, but released a collection of unreleased recordings recently on local label Tiberius Records.

Our most recent episode of Local Lixx served as a “Best Of Cincinnati Music 2008″ as we highlighted artists that received nominations for this years CEA awards. The show was slated for an hour, but due to all the great music available, it took an extra 15 minutes or so to fit it all in. The 12th annual awards take place later this month and is an example of how great a year for music it was here in Cincinnati.
