Earlier this year, The Low Anthem stopped into our Cincinnati studios for a Lounge Act. We hit it off really well with the band and invited them back in to our new digs in Austin for a guest DJ set recently. At that start of a busy week here in the WOXY studios, our friends from back home in Cincinnati, Bad Veins dropped in for a visit and guest DJ set while on tour supporting their debut record. And right after them, Dangerbird Co-Founder Jeff Castalez sat down for a chat and to pick a few songs as well. Jeff and his wife Jo Ann lost their 6-year-old son Pablo to cancer and Jeff is currently cycling across the country on a 3,000+ mile journey to raise money to battle childhood cancer in the name of the Pablove Foundation.
