In a fairly short period of time, The Antlers have released quite a bit of music. Led by Peter Silberman, who started the band by recording solo in his bedroom, we picked up on The Antlers with the self-released In The Attic Of The Universe album back in 2007.

With the recent release of Hospice, they have earned genuinely rapturous reviews from the blogosphere and, perhaps most notably, NPR’s All Songs Considered who have called the new cd “astonishing.”

The Antlers played in our Lounge as a trio: in the ‘core’ live band Silberman is joined by Michael Lerner and Darby Cicci. We get 4 tracks from Hospice in this session where the guys also discuss their journey to SXSW this year and the plans for recording even more new material soon.
