WOXY.com Google Calendar Now Live!
Whether you are a techie type or not, this should be a valuable resource for everyone that is a bit organizationally challenged. (like me) The folks at Google have made what I think is the best web based calendar out there and whether you already use it or not, this will be a great way for you to track not only our Lounge Acts series, but also our programming schedule.
I created two calendar options for you to subscribe to, so first off, if you already use Google Calendar, you can subscribe with Google or ICal.
WOXY.com Lounge Acts Calendar (Google)
WOXY.com Lounge Acts Calendar (ICal)
WOXY.com Programming Calendar (Google)
WOXY.com Programming Calendar (ICal)
If you have no idea what I am talking about, I have a nice little step by step for you, (with pictures) if you click on the read more button…. :)
Ok, if you don’t have a Google account, no Gmail, no nothing, and want to use the calendar, here is how you need to proceed…..
1. Follow this link and sign up for a new Google Account, it is as simple as entering your info and confirming an email.
2. Once you have an account, log in and you will see a screen that looks like the photo below, head straight to the area I have placed the black arrow and click it.

3. Next, search for woxy in the search bar at the top, an arrow points to it in the graphic below. This will bring up the results you want, both the Lounge Acts Calendar and the Programming Calendar. Subscribe to one or both by clicking the add button like the one in our picture below.

4. Then click the Back To Calendar link and your screen should look like the one below.

That’s it! You can mess around with this all you want (even the one I embedded at the top of this post is live and accurate and can be toggled.)
Enjoy and if you have questions, feel free to let me know.

Awesome. This station has been lacking a posted program schedule for years. Way to remedy that situation, Joe.

I agree, a program schedule is a valuable edition to the station.
