UK band Foals were kind enough to check in at EAR Studios during our time in Austin for SXSW. The band played on March 17th and it marked the first U.S. radio performance for them. They had previously done a couple sessions for the BBC back home, but commented that the EAR studios were much nicer than what they were accustomed to in the UK. The guys played an energetic set, and our program director Mike, who conducted the session, even told me that the drummer, Jack, was hitting his kit so hard that he had to assist the boys and hold it in place throughout the session.

The five piece band is signed to Transgressive Records and their debut single is due out on April 16th. Enjoy the full session, or the two songs that we have extracted from the set, all are in MP3 form.
