Bryce Dessner of The National to Guest DJ
Bryce Dessner of The National and Clogs will be dropping by the WOXY.com studios at 2pm on Wednesday, April 4th to guest DJ and discuss the MusicNOW Festival. He will be turning the spotlight on the artists who are playing the festival and feature some of their music, plus discuss the background of the festival, and why he has chosen these artists to play. This is the second year for the MusicNOW Festival and Bryce also curated the event last year. We also hope to get a little more information out of him about the new album from The National, “Boxer.”
In addition, Bryce will be giving away a pair of single night passes to MusicNOW for Friday night April 6th @ Memorial Hall. You can win the passes by listening while he guest DJ’s on Wednesday.
Also, check out a recent interview with Bryce where he talks about MusicNOW.

Awesome! I’m really glad you guys will be highlighting and showcasing this festival. It doesn’t seem like there’s been a lot of talk about it, so hopefully this will get people excited for it. I know I am.

I love the guest DJ spot. Its even fun when they play music that nobody else knows! ;>
Looking forward to this. National is coming to Boston in June and I will be there.
