Phaser may sound like they're from the UK, but they're about as American as you can get… they're from Washington D.C.

A bit of a change from the usual underground indie punk vibe rampant in that city, Phaser creates melodic and airy music. This foursome was founded by brothers Siayko and Boris Skalsky two years ago. Since then, Phaser has played throughout the East Coast. In 1998, the band recorded the Silverscreen Daydream EP and issued it on their own. The Skydive EP (2000) has met with favorable reviews and critical acclaim.
