Ahh, concert posters can really set the mood. Remember those trippy, the-artist-must’ve-taken-too-many-tabs-of-acid images from the Summer of Love? Or, what about those Garbage Pail Kid spastic drawings that erupted in the early nineties to promote the music à la grunge?
People remember posters and Bunny knows. Take a black and white instructional drawing of a man choking and slap on the following text: Look in the person’s mouth to see if the blockage has become dislodged. If it has, hook it out with your finger. BUNNY – Music to choke to.
Nuthin’ says musical lovin’ like a good old-fashioned health scare.
Bunny formed back in 1998, when Guy (guitar/vocals) and Danny (drums) were determined to make a band unlike any other band they’d been in before…one that didn’t suck. They recruited Milli to play bass and Rob to play trumpet and keyboards. The result? A band named Bunny.
The band has played with such acts as Ten Benson, Twist, Groop Dogdrill, Black Moses, Snow Patrol and Dirty Beatnicks. Although Bunny has released a few A-sides with Tugboat Records, they are currently in the studio recording a full-length album.
Bunny describes their music as "oobely boobely, portuguese new-metal folk fumph." No wonder they worry about a hairball causing blockage.
